Vinh Ha is a serial entrepreneur who focuses on projects that benefit from his experience and skills in digital marketing. During his 15 years of brand and product marketing expertise, Vinh has shepherded companies from inception through acquisition, and advised FORTUNE 500 enterprises about the strategic deployment of marketing assets.
In addition to entrepreneurial ventures at Remarx Media, Vinh founded bigdevelopment Inc., a digital agency that specializes in social media marketing and web development. Since 1998, bigdevelopment created hundreds of websites and implemented just as many online marketing plans for companies. The diverse client list included performing arts centers, international action sports brands and not-for-profit corporations. Clients included Globe Shoes, Orange County Performing Arts Center, Purina and Disney Interactive.
During his time at bigdevelopment, Vinh also founded another start-up called icelounge.com in 1999, one of the first online market research companies that targeted teens. Foreseeing the growth of social networks in 2003, Vinh revived icelounge.com as one of the first niche social networks. In 2005, Vinh negotiated the sale of icelounge.com to a public company for cash, stock and a year contract to develop three more niche social networks.
After the success of icelounge.com, Vinh went on to create Omnifuse, which specialized in licensing its proprietary social networking platform and providing social media marketing. In 2008, he was bought out by his partner.
Prior to his entry into the entrepreneurial world, Vinh held positions at large corporations that included web developer, web marketing director and director of online services.
During his free time, Vinh surfs and plays tennis. He donates his time to various charities.
Vinh holds a bachelor’s in political science with an emphasis in public law from the University of California Los Angeles.
